Frequently asked questions
Is SnapCount cycle counting software?
Yes, for the counting step. Several people count zones into one live total from their own phones, and Pro exports the totals as CSV or JSON. It does not hold your SKU list, post adjustments, or replace a WMS or ERP.
Can several people count inventory at the same time?
Yes. Each counter opens the same count on their own device and taps into their zone. Two people tapping the same counter at once do not overwrite each other, and every tap is kept.
Does SnapCount scan barcodes?
No. Counting is by manual taps only. If you need barcode receiving, lot or serial tracking, or directed putaway, use a WMS or scanner. SnapCount can still run the shared tally next to it.
What does the cycle count export contain?
On Pro, a snapshot of current totals and daily totals by date range, as CSV or JSON. Enterprise adds every tap as its own row with its exact time, plus an activity log of who changed each counter.
Can I count each worker's output instead of each aisle?
Yes. Give each worker a group with a counter for each item or grade, and the Totals tab adds each item up across everyone. The production page shows that setup for a production floor.

No. Plans are per organization, not per seat. Pro covers 10 teammates, and Enterprise has unlimited teammates, so a bigger crew does not raise the bill per head. See the pricing page for current prices.
Can I try it without an account?
Yes. A free guest session runs one live count on up to 10 devices for 1 hour, and up to 4 while you keep counting. Counting stops when it ends, and the organizer has 24 hours to save it into a free account. Move to Pro for repeat cycle counts, history, and exports.
