Someone cannot join a shared count
When a QR code or link will not let a teammate count.

Common causes

| Session full, and the count shows read-only | A free session already has 10 devices counting | Save it into an organization, where counting links have no device limit |
| The counter will not move | An admin locked it (Enterprise) | Ask an admin to unlock it |
The QR code will not scan
Use the phone's own camera app and hold it steady a hand's width from the screen. If that fails, use Copy link on the share sheet and send the link by text or chat.
