Start a shared counter

  1. Open a free session

Go to snapcount.app/guest. A session opens with a counter ready to tap. The browser that opened it is the organizer: it can add and rename counters.

  2. Name what you count

Rename the counter to the job, like Front door or Grade A. A session holds up to 3 counters, more when it starts from a template.

  3. Take the first count

Tap the plus key. After the first count the share sheet opens with a QR code and a link.

  4. Bring in a second phone

Scan the QR code with another phone, or send the link. The second screen joins the same count with no account. Tap on either phone and watch both totals move.

While you count

  • Tap minus to take one back, or use Undo last tap right after a mistake.
  • Once two or more devices are connected, each can carry a label, like Door A, so you know who counted what.
  • If the connection drops, keep counting. Taps are held on this device and sent when the connection returns. Keep this page open. See Offline and live sync.

Keep the count

A free session starts with 1 hour and stays open while people count, up to 4 hours. To keep the total, choose Save Session and sign in with Google, Apple, or email. The live count keeps running while you sign in, and it is free, with no payment needed.

Saved into a new account, the same link keeps counting until your 7-day trial ends. You can still save a session for 24 hours after it ends.
