Counters and groups
Create saved counters, set how they count, and group them so the totals add up for you.
Updated
Create a counter
In the dashboard, choose Create a counter. A name is optional, and you can set the value it starts from.
To make many at once, choose Create a numbered set: a name like Runner and how many, from 1 to 200. The set arrives in its own group that adds up its counters. Numbered sets are part of Pro. Undo on the confirmation removes the whole set.
Counter settings
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Increment by, Decrement by | Count in steps, like +5 for a case of five. |
| Mode | Both directions, Increment only, or Decrement only. |
| Goal | A target the counter shows progress toward. |
| Group total | Whether the counter adds to, subtracts from, or is left out of its group's total. |
Groups and totals
Put counters in a group, like one group per store or per builder. A group can show the sum of its counters, the net (ins minus outs), or no total.
Give each group the same counter names and a Totals tab appears, adding every group into one live total per item. That is how a chain sees every store, or a yard sees every grade, at once.
A group can also carry a capacity limit. It turns amber at 90% and red when full.
Fix a count
- Set value replaces the count with the number you type.
- Reset counter sets it back to its start. Undo appears for 10 seconds after.
- Delete counter is open to admins and to whoever created the counter.
Locks, history, and access
Enterprise adds controls for larger crews:
- Lock counter: members can't count until an admin unlocks it.
- View activity: the latest 500 counts on a counter, with who and when.
- Scheduled reset: daily, weekly, or monthly, in your timezone.
- Counter access: members see only the counters they created or were given. Owners and admins see all. Set it in Counter access.
- Favorites pin the counters you use most.
